The 2 Wire Navigator, (APS) Accessible Pedestrian System, is a new approach to making intersection crosswalks accessible to the Visually Impaired. The 2 Wire Navigator is a highly reliable vandal-resistant APS that provides a vibrotactile ADA compliant 2" pushbutton with a raised directional arrow and audible sounds during the walk cycle. The most revolutionary feature of Polara's 2 Wire Navigator is the ease of installation by utilizing the two existing ped pushbutton wires and eliminating the need to pull additional wire. Available colors are Green, Yellow and Black. Both 2 Wire and 4 Wire Navigators use the same Configurator for ease of programming.
